On the morning of March 12, the first foundation pouring pilot ceremony of Qinghai-Henan (+800 kv) UHVDC transmission line project (Gansu section) was grandly held at the tower No. N1312 in Luqu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, under the responsibility of Gansu Transmission and Transfer Engineering Co., Ltd., marking that the world's highest UHVDC transmission project (Gansu section) has entered the stage of comprehensive construction. 。

Qinghai-Henan (+800 kilovolt) UHVDC transmission line project starts at Hainan Converter Station in Hainan Prefecture of Qinghai Province and ends at Zhumadian Converter Station in Zhumadian City of Henan Province. It passes through Qinghai, Gansu, Shaanxi and Henan provinces. The line is 1587 kilometers in length and the designed transmission capacity is 8000 MW, of which the Gansu section is 439.208 kilometers in length.

As the implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on the construction of new energy industrial bases and the construction of ecological civilization, we will implement the practical actions of clean energy for the benefit of the people. It is the first practice of long-distance bundling of pure clean energy such as wind, light and water with large DC technology in the world. It is also a major innovation in developing and utilizing UHV transmission technology to promote the large-scale development and utilization of new energy in China. The project can take advantage of the existing network links with Qinghai to send surplus electricity from Gansu to central China, which is of great significance for ensuring energy security, promoting the clean transformation of national energy, stimulating Gansu's economic growth, helping to win the battle against poverty and the battle against the blue sky.

It is understood that Qinghai-Henan (+800 kv) UHVDC transmission line project (Gansu section) is managed by Gansu Electric Power Company of State Grid, on-site management and control of Gansu Electric Power Company Construction Branch of State Grid, and 16 construction, design and supervision units such as Gansu Transmission and Transfer Engineering Co., Ltd. participate in the construction. In order to ensure the standardized start of the first pilot project, the participating units strictly implement the requirements of building a "resource-saving and environment-friendly green and harmonious project", conscientiously implement the twelve supporting policies of the State Grid Corporation, comprehensively implement the standardized management of the project construction, vigorously promote the application of standardized technology, and start with the basic work of manpower, material, financial and technology, and compare the risks of the project. Work items and construction difficulties, formulate specific construction schemes, strictly control safety and quality, lay a solid foundation for the construction of "safe and reliable, independent innovation, reasonable economy, friendly environment, international first-class" project and strive for the national gold medal for high-quality projects.
